What is Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is the classical and original form of Yoga, combining power and flexibility with movement and breath to produce an energetic and detoxifying practice.
Ashtanga Yoga classes consist of a set series of postures known as the primary series, with the emphasis placed on alignment and breath.
Ashtanga Yoga is a challenging practice recommended for people with some yogic experience, or for people who like a challenge.
If you are new to Ashtanga look out for introductory/beginners courses, or try a level 1 class.
