There is no fashion code for Yoga just wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely and also allows the teacher to see your alignment.
Do I need to bring anything?

No we will provide everything you need even a mat. Although you may wish to bring your own and a small towel for hygiene purposes.
Can I eat before a class?

It is best to leave a 2/3 hour gap before you practice, as a full stomach can get in the way of the many different poses. If you must eat, eat a small or light snack, and take just small sips of water.
Do I have to book the classes?

Not if you are coming to a community run class, just turn up and enjoy. If you are joining a class at one of the gyms then it is advisable to contact the gym to book and to find out their pricing policy.
I have never done Yoga before, where do I start?

What if I have an injury or condition?

It is recommended that you get the go ahead from your doctor before you start taking Yoga classes. If you have the thumbs up make sure you email Laura first to discuss your situation so that she can modify the postures to suit your needs. It may be better to start off with a couple of private lessons so that she can assess any limitations.
I am pregnant can I still do Yoga?

It is always advisable to consult your doctor before starting or continuing your Yoga practice. If you are new to Yoga it is best to start a specifically designed pregnancy Yoga class. If you already have a practice in place stick to very gentle or restorative Yoga classes. If you cannot find a suitable class speak to Laura ahead of the class to make sure it is suitable for you. Remember it is always advisable to consult your doctor in regards to your personal health and any potential risks.
What style of Yoga do you teach?

I teach Ashtanga and VinyasaYogaflow classes, please see class descriptions. The Yoga that I teach focuses heavily on attention to detail and correct alignment of the body. The Ashtanga can be quite dynamic, while the VinyasaYoga is gentler. Both of them involve the sequencing of postures with flowing aspects and are breath orientated. I always include relaxation at the end of the class and breathawareness exercises.
